Hello tissy, I am suspecting a prolem with your web browser's "cache".

Click this link

Do you see hats on any? All? None?

hi tech, first half have hats, then no hats

TecheneezerScrooge · 10/12/2007 12:27

Presuming you are on internet explorer version 7, you could try the following (caveat emptor etc):

Choose Tools, Internet Options from the menu bar. If you don't have the menu bar showing, click the word "tools" by the picture of the cog/gear wheel.

This should bring up a dialog titled "Internet options". The second section of that dialog is marked "Browsing history". In that section, click the "Delete" button and another dialog shows up, titled "Delete browsing history". The top section of the "Delete Browsing History" dialog is titled "Temporary Internet Files" . In that section, click the "Delete Files" button and answer Yes to the "Are you sure" question. The computer may churn for a few minutes depending on how many temporary files there were, but it will eventually settle down. Click OK/Close on each dialog in turn to get back to the normal IE window.

Once that is done, your browser should pick up a "fresh", hat-free copy of the images next time it needs them.

TecheneezerScrooge · 10/12/2007 12:29

That was for tissy by the way. Inadvertently deleted first sentence, which said "Hi Tissy, both sets of hats should be the same, so it sounds like your browser is indeed using a 'cached' local copy for the first set."

Sorted!

thanks!

tissy · 10/12/2007 12:33

better watch this page, so I can get rid of the Santas after Christmas!

TecheneezerScrooge · 10/12/2007 12:35

Hi TMMJ, that's one for the editorial team, not me. I am something akin to a serf. I'll mention to them that you asked. If I recall correctly, it was felt that festive sad/angry etc looked a bit inappropriate with santa hats on, so they may prefer not to include festive versions of those.

Ok themulledsnowmanneredjanitor (wow that's a lot of typing) you win. If you really want to have festive sads, angrys and envys (angries and envies?) we'll command Serf Tech to do the necessary and then y'all can have a choice.

MrsGrinch · 10/12/2007 17:08

Deffo want the envy one - it'll be my personal Mrs Grinch emoticon.

TecheneezerScrooge · 10/12/2007 20:40

I am duly commanded and will put up the extra "festives" overnight tonight.

TecheneezerScrooge · 10/12/2007 23:32

i spose it is a bit grinch-like.

MrsGrinch · 11/12/2007 10:07

Heehee 'tis me!
