Want to be a Mumsnet Tech?

DSC, Mumsnet's technology partner, has a vacancy for a full time Java developer, to work solely on Mumsnet.

The position is based in North London, with some possibilities for working from home and/or flexible working hours.

We're looking for someone with an excellent level of Java programming ability and the ability to write concise, efficient, maintainable web applications. Additional supporting skills required are detailed knowledge of SQL, HTML and CSS. No previous commercial experience is necessary, but you will be expected to be able to demonstrate your technical skills. If you can provide examples of projects you've worked on online, that would be great.

Above all, this role would suit a well rounded, bright and enthusiastic person with a wide range of technical skills. Additionally, you can expect to gain exposure to a variety of modern web development tools and techniques, learning from other experienced and successful members of the team.

Mumsnet is a well established but still fast growing parenting website with over 350,000 monthly unique users. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented developer to shape its technological future.

If you'd like to apply, please do so here

Bumpety-bump - please do pass this on if you know anyone who fits the bill (or we might be forced to shut down )

Hi NQC, the first link is a link to DSC's home page - the link to the application itself is the one at the end. Ta.
