Pressing back multiple times to come out of a thread after opening pictures

If this is just me then ignore as it might be my phone, but if I open pictures on a thread I then have to press back on my phone multiple times to get back to the previous page. It's as if the site considers each photo I open a new page it needs to go back through. Any thoughts?

That happens to me too. Annoying, innit.

I get this too and yes its so annoying.

I'm not alone! It's a bit annoying at worst but just odd I never get it on other sites.
