Can we have a 'Home' for Humour on the site Tech?

Dear Tech....yes you are still wonderful...etc etc...grovel grovel....

But do you think we could have a 'humour section' on the site...it sometimes can get quite confusing if people are posting things as a joke or for a bit of fun and it may help stop a lot of 'misunderstandings' IYSWIM

I would love a humour section as I am stark raving mad with my own Mnet straight jacket embroided with the MNet logo...so go on

Please can we have the italics...I will default on the 'spellchecker' if you give us a 'humour topic'...go on you know you want to???

Pretty Please

Oh thank you great and mighty tech...perhaps you should alert him to the seriousness of the situation....like HERE

If that doesn't prove that we need an insanity section nothing will! But we will settle for a 'Humour' section so that people will not get the wrong end of the stick when things are said and done in jest and then cause upset as they are taken seriously....and just think Mumsnet could get a whole new book out of us.....Insanity is hereditary you get it from your kids...full of funny things our little angels say and funny things that Mummys do...just think of all the money that you would get selling our insanity....am I going a bit OTT here...me thinks maybe!

Just offer Tech a few crisp tenners. We can earn back the money by charging people to see our Bunglie-In-A-Box exhibit.

Anyone got a spare Tena pad??

Justine (mumsnet) · 04/11/2004 14:23

Sorry this was on someone's to do list yesterday but as is often the way it didn't get done - not Tech's fault at all. The answer is Yes! but we think humour is not quite right as a name - as someone else has said we wouldn't like to imply that humour was only allowed in one small backwater of mumsnet so... how about calling it "Only joking" - and housing it in fun and games?

Will ask Tech to do tonight (though Thursday's usually his night on the town, so may have to wait until tomorrow!)

Bunglie · 04/11/2004 14:24

Oh tech...help!

I don't want to go in a box (again) Please give us a humour section!?
