Gambling adverts on the app

Hi @MNHQ is there any way to stop the gambling adverts which have started appearing at the bottom of threads in the iOS app? I'm on an ipad running OS 14.4.

I don't like gambling, because I have a family member whose life has been severely blighted by gambling addiction, so these are particularly annoying to me.

Please can you send us the URL of the ad? If you turn your phone/device to airplane mode or turn off the connection, you should be able to just click on the ad. This will show the URL which you can copy and paste without actually opening the webpage. Flowers

Thank you, I appreciate it. Are these ads legitimate in terms of Mumsnet as a business getting paid for them? If so, I suppose I should just ignore them, rather than keep bothering you Thanks. I'll consider it my contribution for you keeping FWR going.
As a rule, we do not work with advertisers that are promoting gambling so we'd always block these straight away. They are not our revenue, nor our clients! Personally, i'm not sure if we'd make money from the short time they slip through the net and appear on site, but it doesn't matter because we'd block them ASAP!
