MN GIFT GUIDE

AbbyMumsnet · 03/10/2007 14:05

We want to put together a MN guide to top gifts for all the family. Whack your suggestions here - along with who the gift would be ideal for and (ideally) a link to where to buy the blooming thing.

Thanks for your help!

Am in awe of the fishly budget and generosity when it comes to the festive season.

Anything you like from here for supermarket vehicularly nicknamed woman you don't know off the internet, who is probably an American called Randy on death row for parking offences, and dressed in an orange boiler suit in either case

Fireflyfairy2 · 11/10/2007 18:33

Cod is the Think Pink book suitable for a 12 yr old niece - v. sheltered life, naive, innocent for her age...or is it more teenagery?

Hi i was sent a link to this thread....

I have a few ideas for gifts which can be personalised to meet your own requirements to any given person.

Pamper kits for the ladies,I am using hand made soaps and bath bombsand other pampery bits (I keep adding as i go along for each lady am giving gift to)
I found a lovely lady on ebay that makes them herselfand are really quite cheap (10 mini bath bombs for 2.25 and imo they aren't that mini lol)

she has a shop called bare and beautiful, which you can also find on the net as well.

Am also doing my 3 DD's a craft basket/box set each containing pens/pencils/crayons colouring books craft paper etc etc (all from pound shops but they wont know that lol)

I think with respect that by giving someone a 'gift basket' containing anything that they are interested in is more or less a guarnteed winner for them and yourself (esp if you look around for the bargains like I try to do lol), it shows that you have thought their present through enough to show you care (sales talk there sorry, am so excited over it)

what do you MN'ers think?
