i don't want to buy or sell so i tick the box. so now people are linking in other topics. can't they just behave?? oh and why is ebay not under the no buying and selling topic?

Hello, Sorry for your frustration on all this buying and selling stuff - we are planning to look at classifieds properly (including possibly re-housing from talk/ charging etc - we want them to be as useful as possible but not annoying) once tech's done with a few other bits and bobs on his list - customised active conversations, bookmarks, grafitti walls in MyMumsnet etc
We do know that right now it's a bit of a mess and somewhat irritating and we promise to sort in due course.
In the meantime feel free to shout, moan and grumble... whatever gets you through.

I think kewl is just "internet slang" for cool, isn't it? I mean it's not even meant to save letters - it's just a variant spelling.
I always thing it prob started because of the way some American teens say cool, like kee-ool or kyul with a sort of y sound after the hard c.
Or sunnink like that anyway. I'm hoping sunnink will catch on as a new form of something. Some of the kids round here even manage to swallow the middle altogether so it sounds more like sah-ink. That's pretty kewl .
