Hi,

I was mid mumsnet browse and I've been logged out and can't get back in? Only thing I can find on search is that I've been banned but have no clue at all why?

Can someone help!

I've created a new account because I'm not sure what has happened? I also can't find any contact details without logging in. I'm happy for this account to be delegated but I want to know what has happened with my other account!

Interestingly, I've had one of my threads that I started a couple of hours ago deleted, but I don't know why and MNHQ aren't responding to my email about it. The deletion message they posted doesn't make any sense!
Maybe someone at HQ has got lockdown madness

I can't even get in on my account. No explanation nothing 😫 when I have a little one who won't sleep mumsnet keeps me sane and now I can't even do that on my usual threads.

How strange. I thought if you were banned a post would’ve been removed at least! Hopefully it’s just a mistake it can be a life line for sleepless nights.

@Confusedmamamia just after 11. I posted not long before that so it must have just happened. If they've just done it which they must of done I'm not sure why they haven't responded to me!

Whilst I appreciate they have lives outside of MN I don't see how they can potentially ban someone without explaining why first!

I'm really hoping someone will come along and explain because it's so confusing

If it had been the case it had been like that for hours that's fine but not a matter of 5 mins!

I think it's an error. The site has been having lots and lots of problems. There were multiple threads about it yesterday evening. Sorry, I can't link, but if you look on site issue there is a thread there.
There were so many different threads (one of which I started) that they removed most of them.
I don't think that it's anything personal. Don't worry!

I've just looked on my other thread (which doesn't exist anymore, but I can see it in 'threads I'm on'). The same was happening to other posters. They could not log on and thought they had been banned. MN said it was a hosting issue or something to do with caching (whatever that means).
I couldn't log on for an hour. I can't remember what it said, but when I finally got on, there were only 5 active threads showing.
Very odd.

Hope you've found out. Probably just a glitch but from previous threads, if MNHQ do ban someone they often just do it without telling the person. They just can't log in to that account anymore.

Interesting that they don't let people know! Seems silly to me. I also would've thought at least a comment would've been removed but they are all still there this morning.

I'm really hoping I hear something soon as it's so frustrating
