The Tsarina stuff being secret - I don't like it, I don't like it AT ALL

Just registering my unpleasant squirmy feelings about there being a secret bit of MN, really.

And I KNOW why it's there. But I can't see the point of it being secret.

I agree, if there are things you need to talk about to make sure you're doing the right things/not duplicating work, etc, then that's fine.

I knew what the MN tsarina stuff was all about because I a> read everything and b> remember everything and c> wondered about doing it, then realised I do More Than Enough Already and thought Arse To It.

I do think if MN are going to do it properly they need to have car stickers with "Tsarina On Board" made up

I also don't think MN Local is that intuitive to find one's way around, nor do I think it's being used to its full advantage yet, possibly for the first reason.

I'm going to start another paragraph starting with "I" for the hell of it now.

I object to Mumsnet local being filled with 'free' ads. In mine, there are half a dozen blatant 'ads' masquerading as local information. Can I just make a petty-minded plea to anyone who posts a recommendation on their local site, to treat it as a review of the place, not just a blatant plug IYSWIM.

I think I shall go post a plea to Tech to unveil the tsarinas....

Just butting in ....the Tsarina name came from the the lead our dear Labour government has been showing with "drug tsars", "sandwich tsars", etc....

This is starting to look as the Russian Mafia...
