How many people have used mumsnet local - gone on a day out, joined a club, etc after reading a local listing?

Just an idle question as mumsnet local has now been running for a few months. I can see that the listings are steadily increasing in some of the areas that I subscribe to.

So, how many mumsnetters have actually used the listings and as a result, gone on a day trip, found out something new about their area, joined a club or class, used a recommended restaurant etc etc?

Hi NightyNight - we are always happy to add new areas where there's a Mumsnetter happy to be Tsarina - effectively a local editor for that area. The task shouldn't be too onerous, welcoming folks, adding listings, checking out places and adding comments to existing listings and - coming soon - the ability to edit listings. If you think you'd like to take this on do email us at [email protected] and let us know which bit of Germany you'd like to cover and we'll add it to the list.

Great idle question tigermoth - we'd also be interested in whether folks have found Local useful?
