Hi I have asked 3 times now for a post to be deleted that I've reported .
It's my own post I have reported it three times due to being identified and it's still there? I've asked for two days now what else can I do ?

Hi there, @gumdrop2

Really sorry to hear that this has caused you extra stress - that's not what we like to hear at all.

Just to explain, the reason why we haven't been as swift as usual to respond to you is that you accidentally reported your posts as 'spam'.

This meant that your reports kept going into a separate inbox. In future, if you report posts, do try to make sure that you check the box marked 'report for other reasons' rather than 'report as spam' and we're likely to be much quicker to respond.

Also, in one of our previous mails, we asked you to drop us a line to let us know once you'd posted on the thread. As we hadn't yet had that mail from you, we hadn't taken any action.

But since you've now confirmed that you've posted on the thread to tell folk why you asked for it to be taken down, we've nipped in and taken it down as requested.

Please do rest assured that we aim to respond to MNers and to sort out issues as quickly as we can. Mumsnet is here to make parents' lives easier after all.

We hope that resolves things for you but do please let us know if we can help further.
