Ellipses in 'Trending Now' - why?!

You've made no comment about this in the other thread, so I'm starting a new one!

Please can you explain why you think the new formatting of the subject titles is a good idea?

Why did you introduce this format in the first place?!

It's awful and really makes it difficult to know if a topic is worth clicking on or not!

Hello, everyone!

We've looked into this this morning. It sounds like it's actually an error and is only appearing on iPad we think. The ellipses should be appearing at the end of the title, not floating around in the middle.

Tech are looking for a solution now so hopefully they should disappear soon.

How much do you think an inhaler.....US
Give us a clue, is there a child in Nursery called Gav, I live in Wales so that's possible.
Does an inhaler cost more in the United States of America.
If it's a problem on iPads, please get it sorted out. MNHQ run the forum, it seems to me that your tech department is not up to scratch.

Also happening on the iPhone if you use the desktop site. Have had it on PC (Chrome) in the last week too so definitely not an iPad only issue.

This is still happening on an iMac - although the ellipses appear to have moved towards the beginning of the title now?! Still very annoying.
