It jars and looks silly.

Also, there is STILL the delay in typing showing up, deleting four lines when three letters are chosen etc etc that has been going on for months

This new thing is putting me off coming on here as one can't really tell what the thread is about until opened and that is wasting my time.

If someone thought this was a good idea, then they are batshit. If it is a glitch then sort it please.

Also, the delayed appearance of what is typed on screen, plus the deleting issue where one letter is attempted to be deleted and then requested again when it doesn't happen resulting in several words vanishing, is still happening even though we've been flagging this for months.

Hi again, everyone. We've posted on the other thread about this but just wanted to update here, too. It seems to be an iPad issue but Tech are looking into it now and it should be fixed soon. Thanks for your patience.

It's still al .......................... on my iPad and iPhone. However, on my (work!) laptop - internet explorer - the annoying ellipses have gone. See attached screen grab

Does the tech team actually ever listen to the community team? This seems to be a constant response to the frustrations of your users, and it always seems to take an age to get changes/glitches corrected. (Advanced Search being a very obvious example, along with this one).

What is the tech team doing?!

Today there were.....when there was space for actual letters.

No one would mind if the last word was missing as we could work out the thread topics but when you randomly put full stops mid sentence it really changes the meaning.

It was a stupid idea. It's annoying. Stop it. Please
