I need a mod

I've been thinking all day about this and I need a mod to contact me please as I've been unjustly accused of 2 crimes by an over zealous mod who refused to listen to my reasoning.

I do not wish to be on my 3rd warning because of someone who refuses to listen to valid reasons for a certain post.

I am also worried about the willy-nilly accusations made of illegal behavior by the mod which are completely false. And as we all know there are people ready and willing to jump on any little excuse to put in their ever growing file on me to use at their convenience

Hello @stealthsquirrelnutkin, thanks for your comments - we’d like to address some of the points you’ve raised wrt the fairness of our moderation.

While it’s certainly not an exact science, and we’d never claim it is, it’s our aim to be as fair and consistent as possible - while also taking into account that all important context and nuance. It’s absolutely not the case that anyone on the Community team is ‘abusing their power’

  • we’re a pretty collaborative bunch, and will usually seek a second, third, fourth... opinion before making tricky decisions. No mod is an island etc.

We’re also happy to admit when we make mistakes, and will roll back on decisions which, in hindsight, were the wrong call. If you think any decision is unfair, or have suggestions as to how we can do things better, let us know - we’re always happy to look into it.
