Antenatal Clubs - are you changing back to the original policy?

There was a pop up during the week, asking if people had heard of the Antenatal Clubs on MN, and I was wondering why you were asking.

I am hoping it is because you are considering reverting to the earlier policy under which all chatty threads about those with similar due dates etc, were moved to the Antenatal Club topics everyone knew about them. And Pregnancy was a topic about pregnancy.

That policy was reversed a little while ago. Whic was a shame, because there's nothing so dull as other people's pregnancy chatter when you are at a different stage, , and having it all on one topic made it easy to hide, and see only your own via Threads I'm On.

And then questions that were actually about pregnancy itself could easily be seen, and there used to be a number of HCPs or people with relevant experience who would hang out there and post helpfully. The advice hasn't gone, but it has definitely lessened, since younhave to wade through oodles of threads to spot when someone's might need help. And people gradually give up on topics when they become swamped.

So I'm hoping the interest in the Antenatal Club topic is going to herald a return the previous, simple and effective system which kept chat separate from questions about actual pregnancies.

But are you considering rebranding? Will there be Name Thus Topic competition for a relaunch?

Hi @AuntieStella We are having another look at the Antenatal Clubs topic with the view to making it the best and most useful it can be to new and existing users. This will hopefully mean issues like this don't occur where threads appear in the wrong topic.
