Why has my thread about employment been deleted?

I’m a very old poster on MN although I do NC quite a bit. This is annoying. I wasn’t even told why.

MNHQ I was going to email you directly but I’m not sure what the best email address is.

Why would I have been a troll when countless people said they get paid in the same way?

I'm not sure what happened later because I was on the phone. But when I went to check the thread it was gone.

But they delete for bloody anything these days.

I suppose MN has become so huge that they don't always have time to check background history of posters. It never used to be this trigger happy.

Yes. If someone doesn't like the way their thread is going they get it deleted.

What's DofE? Duke of Edinburgh awards?

We're so, so sorry @MoominMantra. We had a request to remove a post on his thread and it seems we removed the entire thread by mistake. Totally our bad - we've reinstated it now.

Oh I see, thanks @LilyMumsnet for clearing that up for me!
