Is anyone else getting emails from MNHQ saying they have been mentioned on a thread they aren’t even on?!

I’ve had two in a couple of days now. Specifying my name and a poster’s name (different each time) saying I have been mentioned (I have checked through the thread and definitely have not). I have emailed mumsnet repeatedly about it but no answer. Anyone else?

The data breach history of mumsnet is making me a bit twitchy about something I would normally just dismiss as a glitch. Any thoughts?

Is it a poster with a similar name that you've changed ? Though I got an email too this morning but haven't checked the thread as just assumed it was similar to an old posting name id used.

I had that experience- the name used was very similar to a name I had posted under before.

It could be that someone has shortened the username, or typed it out differently. If the changed version belonged to you in the past, you're the one who would get the notification. It's something we're working to fix.

@lilymumsnet I have repeatedly emailed me but no-one replies! This has been on two different threads. I namechanged after it happened the first time and then it happened again.

I can put all this in an email but slightly lost faith in that process!
