Have had his weird warning several times over the last three days, usually when switching from a thread back to Active, is there an issue with MN or is it me?

I have been getting it for a while. Same as you, laptop etc.

Twice so far this evening. It is getting a bit annoying now, been going on longer than 3 days in my case.

Anyway, you should just refresh if it happens to you. MN will eventually fix it - I hope. It's been going on for weeks.

We're working on this now.

Went down completely approx 5 minutes ago. Checked 'Is Mumsnet Down?' and it stated down for everyone.

Even though it is back now, it's not loading properly - the blue wheel on the tab is continually circling, and it's just stopped after approx 2 minutes.

I’m getting 503 error every couple of minutes tonight.

Apache Tomcat has made a reappearance tonight, twice in the last half hour. Site is also slow to load when moving from one thread back to Active and onto another thread. Also, had a 'Site Down' screen from Google.

Been happening since yesterday and still the same now. Very annoying.

Same Apache issue here several times today

Only had it once tonight, but has been going on (just on and off) for a few weeks.
Annoying.
Not consistent.

Just had this three times in the last 5 minutes.

Back again for me, including blank screen and MN unexpectedly closed the connection.

Clearly this is still annoying happening so we'll take another look and see if there's anything we can do to get rid of Tomcat once and for all!

This is occuring every couple of pages now.
