MarsLady · 12/07/2007 13:55

I think you should take away time and replace it with a postnatal doula!

All well with you codliver or just needing a wee moan? How were your hols?

Rumpel · 12/07/2007 13:55

A voucher for a full body massage is the way to go - hmmm - lovely jubbly.

dobbysayswoof · 12/07/2007 13:55

I would have liked to get a nice photo (or indeed ohoto) album as a present.

It would have gathered dust big time though.

Me too Malory.
Best friend came to ward with 2 chilled bottles of champagne and enough (real) glasses for all my visitors. Fab.
Agree photo album not a great present unless someone takes lots of pics of your newborn and puts them all in for you and then presents it.

Nbg · 12/07/2007 14:00

Best present I could have this time is a huge blob of pate, a nice sweet bottle of white wine and a big bag of peanuts.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 12/07/2007 14:02

I dont know, I think everyone else stores them up when they get them as gifts and passes them on lack a bad christmas present.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 12/07/2007 14:02

like a bad christmas present...

carriemumsnet · 12/07/2007 17:20

Well thanks for the feedback, but the beauty of this lovely new review system is that you can post your feedback directly on the reviews and add your own top ideas if you dosagree with the ones up there (though do try and go easy on the swearing - don;t want to frighten all the newbies with newborns away ). Go on, have a go, it'll make Tech's day...
