He says he's on hols, but I suspect rustication...

TinyGang · 10/07/2007 09:47

'Rustication' is a great word.

WaynettaSlob · 10/07/2007 09:55

PMSL at this!

Do you reckon he has to write an essay about his holiday when he gets back??!!!

WaynettaSlob · 10/07/2007 09:57

(BTW - it has always intrigues me that he uses the name 'Domini', as in 'of our Lord' - is he trying to tell us something??? )

DaddyJ · 10/07/2007 10:06

Ah ok, that's fair enough.

Glad he's still allowed to play,
he does liven up a lot of dull threads.

Enjoy your break, DC.

suzycreamcheese · 10/07/2007 10:21

yeh, what daddy j said...

DominiConnor · 10/07/2007 10:32

Abigail Flanagan sent me the "shall we just ban" mail. Possibly in error, maybe intending it for someone else.

I don't think anyone sees me as not ready to argue his case, but argue implies the possibility of changing a view.

I have no problem with moderators moderating; been one myself.
You will note that that I never even commented, much less complained when a post of my got deleted. My view is that a mod is a mod, and if you don't like it, the web is big place to find somewhere else.

Abigail's mind appears to be rather made up, it's her ball and I'm not going to fight her for it.

My last post is on the travel topic, because I'm in the rather nice Holideck at Heathrow which has WiFi, and a decent kids area.

Holideck

WaynettaSlob · 10/07/2007 10:34

Good review - enjoy your hols.

FlameDelacour · 10/07/2007 10:36

Didn't someone else get sent a "shall we just ban" type email? Possibly whatever the evil b*tch was called that was horrible to MartianBishop?

Blu · 10/07/2007 11:19

Have a nice hol, DC - can't you just come back and, in relaxed holiday mood, say what you have to say without being so virulent, and sometimes rude to people?
G'wan - you make good points - they just get buried under invective!

jamDOHnut · 10/07/2007 11:25

It's much more fun if people are feisty.

If we all hugged and hunned all over the place, it may as well just be netmums.

Hugs, DC, hun xxx

bundle · 10/07/2007 11:28

I have just read this thread. I feel as if I have just smoked something illegal - all fuzzy and smiley but not quite sure what is going on....

Kewcumber · 10/07/2007 11:31

move along, move along. Nothing to see here.

That's soooo supportive, (((({{{http://psweudo-hun-bun}})))!

Can we have a group hug?

Btw, the Holideck facility does sound excellent!
