I just hate using the pervy looking one with it's tongue hanging out. If it were a person it would be wearing a dirty mac and reading a copy of Fiesta.

I've put the old wink back. I'll have a look at reinstating the old shorthand for them over the weekend. The one that used to creep in was ;) would be replaced by a wink. I guess we could just not turn that one back on.

By the way, if anyone can manage to draw a wry emoticon in 15 x 15 pixels and wants to send it in, we'll have a look at it. We could do a display a bit like the "vision on" gallery and choose a winner. Send to [email protected]

I tried but he ended up looking on drugs, menacing or too friendly! Can see why we don't have that many, their a pain to try and do, but then art was never really my strong point!

i would love the old ones back tbh - i have to copy and paste every time to insert a smiley as i don´t have these [] on my keyboard. the others ones were so much quicker!
