Ipad safari desktop

Same old problem with delayed pages/links loading and sloooooow typing with lagging and jumps.

On iPhone

It's happening for me on the laptop, so the desktop site not the mobile site. Tonight it seems to be even slower than ever.

I can't preview on the mobile site since yesterday but I don't have an iPhone I have a Samsung.

I'd have corrected that erroneous 'correction' if I could....

I’ve had this on Safari on iPad for several months. Totally unusable, either it doesn’t download, or keeps redownloading with the ‘error’ message, or downloads then freezes. I’ve been using iPhone since, just checking for improvement on iPad once a week, but no improvement on iPad. Fed up of squinting at my phone.

Also my email notifications to threads I’m watching have stopped coming through since yesterday.

I’ve just been logged out and had to log in again. Prior to this pages not loading.

Also just been involuntarily logged out.

It's a forced log out on everyone by MNHQ as per thread linked above. Security issues

Testing to see if I can post on app I've just logged back in

I noticed that before my email notifications for threads I'm watching stopped coming through, the layout of the email had changed to include some graphics, so I'm guessing there was some updating going on with them and something went tits up.

I'm still getting zero email notifications coming through on threads I'm watching so have no idea when new responses are coming in and am missing updates unless I go into each thread individually and scroll through to see if anything new has been posted. Which I don't have time to do.

Please, for the love of God, can you let us know what's going on and why the site is so slow to use?

Pages still taking ages to load, ages to find the bookmarked posts, beachball of death appearing every time I want to post anything.

There are a few threads on this. Nothing is being done to fix it. MNHQ just ask what device is being used. Says sorry then gquiet. Making the site very difficult to use. Maybe that's their plan. i have had to type out parts of this post several times due to missing out letters, deleting more than I asked it too. All as per.

Had a white blank screen this afternoon cursor not working but working okay on twitter and fb. and MN keeps constantly asking me to accept cookies. Im on a laptop using Waterfox

I've got the same problem from a few months ago. iPhone SE and Safari browser. Pages keep freezing, the whole screen goes blank and the only way to restore Safari is by turning the phone off and back on again. Had weeks of this back in the autumn and then it seemed to get sorted, but it's back - can only use in app now.

Getting worse.

Glad it's not just me! It was ok earlier but same again now.

This morning it was the worse it's ever been. I wished I'd taken a video of me trying to post, and how long it took to write a post.

We're really sorry, we've been continuing to test this here in the office and still can't replicate this. We're currently looking into alternative ways we might be able to find out what's causing this and will get back to you soon.
