Minor issue when replying to thread.

I've noticed an odd thing.

Sometimes I'll post a reply to a thread, then press back to go off the thread which returns me to the vesrion I saw before I posted (expected behaviour) - but then if I have another thought I want to add and post a second reply, it doesn't post, I just get directed to the version of the thread with my first reply on. This didn't used to happen, my second reply would appear as a later comment even if other things had been posted in the meantime.

For example:

  1. A thread appears called AIBU to like apples?

OP 12:01: AIBU to like apples? They are so crunchy and green.

  1. I compose a reply (Have you considered some apples are red?) and hit post.
  1. Page reloads to this:

OP 12:01: AIBU to like apples? They are so crunchy and green.
Bertie12:04: Have you considered some apples are red?

  1. I hit back meaning to go back to Active and find another thread, this page loads again.

OP 12:01: AIBU to like apples? They are so crunchy and green.

  1. Another thought strikes me and I decide to add "Actually though, Granny Smiths are excellent." I type it, hit post and the page reloads.

I'd expect to see:

OP 12:01: AIBU to like apples? They are so crunchy and green.
Bertie 12:04: Have you considered some apples are red?
Bertie 12:05: Actually though, Granny Smiths are excellent.

Instead I see:

OP 12:01: AIBU to like apples? They are so crunchy and green.
Bertie 12:04: Have you considered some apples are red?

It's weird. And I've lost a couple of posts by not realising I hadn't loaded the most up to date version of a thread. It's almost like it assigns a post number to my comment which has already been taken by my first comment, so it just displays the comment with that post ID instead - but that doesn't make sense as often on fast moving threads posters are talking over each other and all of their posts go through OK and get assigned their own ID without being overwritten.

Hi there OP,

Thanks for letting us know about this.

Can we ask what device you're using to access the site, and whether you're using the app, the desktop site or the mobile site?
