It would just be as useless as the rest. And people with continue to ignore them, so they are quiet and people have to post in AIBU or chat 'for traffic'.

Although I admit I've enjoyed the one from the MNer who lives on an island just off the coast of Maine, US. And also the VIP nanny one!

Christ on a bike, the prostitute one was the fucking nadir for me. I guess I am grateful they can all stay in one section and I don't have to feel smugged at or think, 'but are you? how do I know you are?'

The reality is that (1) MNHQ won't move the existing ones to the new topic - certainly not at 7pm+ on a Friday night and (2) all the new AMA thread starters won't start their threads there anyway.

This is my constant refrain about some, but not all, niche topics. People don't care and won't search for them, because all they do is post in Chat or AIBU - partially because they don't know that other topics exist.

But right now I'm too hot and bothered to try to 'report' every single AMA thread to ask MNHQ to move them to the new topic. Although I might give it a go if when I get insomnia

I think the AMA's have been really interesting and I've learnt a lot, some have been funny too. Would be good if they were grouped together in their own topic though so I don't miss any
