For the last couple of weeks, when using Mumsnet on iPad (not app) I get a glitch with the above message. It causes me to be automatic logged out and Imhave to log in all over again.

Anyone else having this or is a problem confined to my iPad?

Not having this on any other website

Thanks Aridane.

I'm having the same problem. Only on mumsnet (the website using safari on an iPad). I haven't updated to the latest iOS because the last time I did that once my iPad reached a couple of years old it made it more or less unusable and I'm only having a problem with this site.

Hi folks

We are really sorry but sadly, no updates here.

We've been unable to replicate the issue our end and until we do that, we're not able to find a fix.

We'll keep trying and in the meantime, please do let us know of any developments.

Grace212 · 23/12/2018 09:58

ah, I'm not the only one
MN has become unusable on my ipad but I thought it was because it's so old - it no longer supports updates, but everything else works as usual.

Well - small update from my end.

This doesn't seem to be happening as much in the last couple of weeks.

Mum sent almost usable on iPad!!

Also happens to me. Not on any other sites. Very frustrating when your in the middle of reading something and the page just disappears. I'm on an iPad through google.

Getting worse again. Can't read long threads on iPad because the webpage constantly reloads before I get to the bottom. Also happens with the local newspaper - too many ads and pop Ups?

Sorry to hear this is a problem again. We've raised it with Tech and will let you know as soon as we hear anything.

This happens all the time on my iPad on Safari. I thought it was because it was an old ipad (iPad 4). Interesting to hear other people experience the same. No problems on Chrome on Android so obviously isn't a connection issue.
