Are you ever going to sort the ad that scrolls down the screen with you when they keyboard in up on a tablet?

I started a thread here ages ago about this, provided screenshots and other posters agreed how annoying it is. MNHQ, you said you were looking into it. But nothing has changed. You end up with about 2cm worth of screen to type on between the keyboard and the irritating ad. FYI, I pay zero attention to any ads as I find them annoying and intrusive. If I want something, I'll go looking for it, I don't need it flashed across my screen, especially when I am typing.

We have had a look back through our conversations with you and firstly would like to apologise for keeping you hanging! We got our wires crossed and thought we had already responded to you.

We’ve been able to replicate the issue to make sure the fixed banner format is within our guidelines. We do have fixed banner formats on Tablets and ideally, they should not be intrusive, as we have it set up so that the top banner stays fixed on the landscape but not fixed on the portrait. Perhaps by changing your viewing format, this may improve things for you-do let us know how it goes?

Thank you for getting back to me @LizzieMumsnet. I always have my tablet in landscape mode, hence only being left with a couple cm of screen once the ad appears with the keyboard up. It doesn't seem to do it on this board for some reason, but it does on the others like chat and AIBU.

@FlashTheSloth, are you logged in when you are on chat and AIBU when the ad appears and keyboard is up? If so can, please send a screenshot?
