Threads keep being deleted

I appreciate sometimes it is appropriate to remove threads but lately I am reading then several hours later they vanish.

If something is posted that shouldn't be and sorry if I sound a bit off here but that seems to be most things judging by the last few days can't mods try to remove a little faster?

@PanPanPanPing

Mumsnet is 'self-moderated'. Threads - or posts - will only be removed/deleted once MNHQ has had reports from MNers about the offending thread/post. MNHQ does have a full time team of 'community somethingorothers' who are, essentially, the moderators, but they can only act on the reports received.

^ Exactly this, OP.

We only see something when it's reported to us! If it's at 101 posts by the first report, and we spot it's a PBP, we don't think it's fair on users who contributed to let it continue.

That being said, whilst our lovely night watch team do hide threads during the night, we aren't always as quick as we'd like to be - we're always looking at ways we can get to things faster (when it's very busy, this can be difficult).

Thanks for the feedback. We appreciate it and have most certainly taken it on board.
