Wanting my location

I keep getting notifications asking for my location. This is only happening on mumsnet. Mobile, galaxy s6, latest version of chrome, no other tabs open. I'm guessing this is something to do with ads?

Hi Nobrain,

It sounds like something to do with local more than ads - don't hold me to that but have definitely seen this around on other websites. We'll just liaise with our tech team - does it keep happening even after you click block?

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes but different things not just Hyundai. Funny you say about local as the local threads that show in active are not my local ones 😁

We've been nagging tech about this - it's definitely on our radar and something we're looking to sort out soon. Can't offer an exact time frame at the moment but do continue to bear with us. Bear

Not sure that the back button is relevant but we'll certainly make our tech team aware. And still trying to find out why the site asked for your location but we'll update as soon as we know!
