I think Archers is something to do with The Archers?

Archers is the pub sign for the Bull, the pub in the Archers (yes, Toblerone)!

Tennis is the tennis ball for those who get enthused by Wimbledon and suchlike!

Glitterball is what it says on the list. A glitterball. I believe it was introduced for all the Strictly fans!

So here we go with Chocolate - a Cadbury's chocolate bar, introduced when MN did a deal with Cadburys.

PanPanPanPing · 06/12/2017 18:09

And these are MN smileys - even if they're not on the list (except for the glitterball)!

Goldenbug · 06/12/2017 18:13

They look like illegal emoji to me. [angryanddepressedatthesametime]

That's not one then.

You just have to remember codes, Gbug!

BertieBotts · 06/12/2017 18:42

Bluntness you've done a long hyphen instead of two short ones, that's why your strikethrough didn't work.

I've noticed lots of app posts going a bit wrong with bold and links for some reason.

PanPanPanPing · 06/12/2017 18:45

Bertie, I gather there's a problem with iPads with the two short hyphens. I'll try to find the thread.

PanPanPanPing · 06/12/2017 18:51

This is the recent info I was thinking of. It looks as though you have to change your settings to turn off 'smart punctuation'.

BertieBotts · 06/12/2017 20:57

Oh how annoying - I was thinking that it looks like what Word does with double hyphens, but it was baffling me why that would be happening on somebody's web browser! That must be why.

PanPanPanPing · 06/12/2017 21:03

I usually post from my laptop and rarely use the double hyphen anyway. I just happened to notice that comment on another thread.
