Do MNHQ ever reinstate threads that have been "deleted while we take a look behind the scenes"? If they can't find anything untoward I mean?
I really hope so, but I don't think I've ever seen one come back. I'd be pretty pissed off if they didn't be honest. I was on a thread yesterday where a few people came in with their incredulous-faced emojis implying with no subtlety at all that no woman ever would feel the way the OP was feeling, despite them being the ones with inadequate understanding of the subject, evidenced when they questioned OP.
And I KNOW they were clueless, because I'm actually in exactly the same position as the OP. I couldn't see anything that would imply troll, save the few posters taking it upon themselves to decide what constituted a credible female experience. And that FUCKING IRKS ME. Someone whose experience mirrors mine has been expunged from the internet because of other women's disbelief, and people like her, like me, may Google their situation in the future and find no-one out there like them. Sad. At least if the thread was reinstated (assuming there's nothing dodgy - I may be wrong - although I'd be surprised given the details the OP gave which I KNOW to be true) they'll see that whilst some women will scoff at their experience, at least a couple of other women felt that way too!
Don't get me wrong, this was not a thread about a serious or life-defining issue; really it was just a little thing; but I'll be so annoyed if it's gone because someone else has decided what is and what isn't a valid female experience.
