grey bar across the top

There's now a big grey block at the top of the screen - possibly where an advert should go - but it's on every page, and it really reduces the screen size, and the things that are normally at the top of the page, so you have to keep scrolling back and forth to read things properly.

This is Firefox, on a Mac desktop.

On mine too and I'm using Opera.

I'm on iPad safari too and I wouldn't say it's a third of the screen on mine, buts it's pretty bad. It sticks there when scrolling too, and doesn't go away.

I have it too on a desktop running internet explorer.

Fixed and immovable bar - tis very very annoying

Grey bar here too, very annoying as it obscures the top of the page. On Google Chrome, desktop site.

Actually, one of the really annoying parts is that it takes up more space than the "page up" - so you hit page up and then have to scroll back down each time.

And you cannot remove it.

Please take it back down!!

The large grey bar has now gone but at the very top of the page I now have a picture of a brown bear walking across a river, anyone else?
