When a troll thread is deleted on "watched threads" why does it just go poof with no evidence or message from MN HQ? eg: the thread about "text to me by mistake" thread?

It was in my watched threads list but now has disappeared poof since this morning

So presumably was a troll or PBP but please could MN HQ delete contents but leave a message on the thread on watched list for at least 48 hours

Otherwise people say need to post X to make it ones "I HAVE POSTED ON"

Then others get annoyed

I think she asked for it to be removed as it's in the Sun newspaper now

The app is incredibly annoying for this. Mind you if it worked, active would simply be full of deletion messages at the moment...I don't think I've clicked on a thread (apart from my quiche ) that seems genuine.

At least we now get a message on the ap for threads deleted in "threads I'm on", that's a welcome change

I was my thread. It's been lifted off here and is all over The Sun on Facebook and their website.
God knows if those vultures will actually print it.

I asked for it to be deleted.

I didn't realise it didn't say "removed at posters request due to privacy issue" as that's what it said on my link.

My god I did not realise the Sun was doing that! Scraping the barrel or what. Is there nothing HQ can do to prevent it? Such a shame, I don't think I would post any issues i may have on here now.

I just had a look and they have even posted screen shots, is there nothing MNHQ can do to prevent that?

It's well known that threads are at risk of getting lifted and there is nothing that MNHQ can do, they probably welcome the extra clicks tbh.
