This morning the button bar on the mobile site has come loose from its moorings at the bottom of the screen and is drifting halfway up the screen when I scroll and sticking there. It's very annoying! I'm using an iPhone.

Thanks for letting us know, it does seem to be rather footloose and fancy-free up there doesn't it? No good for rtft i'm sure.
Can we ask what brower you're using and whether you on the main site or the mobile/app?
