Is it frightfully difficult

to add a bookmark feature for longer threads?

I'd love to be able to mark easily where I'd got to in a thread, then click "go to bookmark" at the top of the page and for it to alight on the last post I read.

I think it's a rubbish idea. I like scrolling down though threads trying to find where I was up to. It's fun.
