Its ridiculous, how is an ad thats so big it makes the site unusable approved. You must be desperate for cash

The ad in the photo above isn't even aligned properly which makes it all the more annoying.

I don't mind ads if they're discreet and don't take up to much space but these are so intrusive they're impossible to ignore.

We really appreciate that many MNers are finding some ads on the site intrusive- but as Mumsnet is a free-to-use site, we do rely on advertising revenue to keep the lights on.

That's not to say we don't want to hear from you if an ad is hampering your ability to use the site - we're always striving to get the balance right. If you think there's something awry with how the ads are behaving, please take a screenshot and drop us a line at [email protected] along with details of your browser, device and how it is impacting the usability of the site.

It's still happening. It's still intrusive. It's still taking up way too much of a mobile screen (iphone5s)

Seriously? It makes the usable space painfully small. I get the need for ads, but come on.

I agree, I've just posted in the other thread about this too. I've been a member for many years but this has made me reach the point where I haven't the patience to read mumsnet any more.

It really is rubbish.
