I have only ever heard Shakespeare referred to as 'the Bard', but I am happy to be corrected. Smile

Well if a bard is a poet, I guess it would depend on whether you consider 'the' poet to be English or Scottish Wink

Though I did laugh at baird, I think both were male!

BeyondCanSeeTheEmperorsBellend · 25/01/2017 20:39

'Bard' is Celtic in origin, so I'm gonna give RB the victory

NormaSmuff · 25/01/2017 20:44

We dont have a smilie for William Shakespeare day or commemorate it all do we?

FannyFifer · 25/01/2017 20:47

Well we commemorate Burns night, it's a big thing in Scotland.
Hope everyone's enjoyed their haggis, neeps and totties.

SauvignonBlanche · 25/01/2017 21:51

I'm full after mine. Smile
