The tongue piercing thread, nothing on there that revealed the poster's true identify whatsoever yet it was deleted to protect privacy.
Can we just email HQ and ask for threads to be deleted now if people aren't agreeing with us?

Hi there, Sorry about this, we deleted it because it has been reported so many times and we thought it was turning into quite a nasty bunfight, and we (I) literally pressed the wrong button to put the wrong automatic message up there. Not ridiculous pandering, just ridiculously busy, many apologies.

Thanks for the sympathy, and of course TSSDNCOP but honestly, sometimes we can see conversations you can't, information you can't and sometimes we just hit the wrong button. We can go back and change it to 'bunfight' now (assuming we can even find the thread any more) and then get back to the mahoosive pile of reports sent in by you lovely people. Peace and goodwill to all women and all that.

Yes, Empress, sorry we seem to have lost track of what's been said where but it has already been noted tonight that the wording of the message is getting on the collective nerves, and we have passed your thoughts on to the people who can change it. Other than when we just hit the wrong button (the two are very close on our system) sometimes we just can't/won't comment on what has prompted a deletion, apart from acknowledging that privacy is an issue. Often we are doing other things in the background that it would be unfair of us to broadcast. We're sorry when we get it wrong, of course, and apologise again.
