Rats! WebGL has hit a snag. Anyone else?

Keep getting this message at the bottom of my screen on my android when using mumsnet only. Given the option to ignore, close or learn more. Is happening almost every time I open a page.

Why?

And anyone else affected?

Is it happening to anyone else almost every time they load a new page up on MN? I'm finding this and now it just keeps springing straight back up when I've closed it too! It's so annoying!

I've been getting this too on Kindle / silk. Started just after the MN mobile site started freezing up.

What Maudlin said. Grin

I didn't have it yesterday, but it appears every sodding time now.

I've not had it today but have had this happening alot to me over the last 3 weeks or so. I'm on a galaxy S6. Very annoying, I press ignore or the cross button but it pings back up instantly.

I've got it all the time this morning. I click the x to get rid of it and it comes straight back.

I'm also on a Samsung Galaxy S6

Was happening to me all the time on Samsung s4 to the extent I could never use the navigation bar as it was hidden. Since changing to s7 edge I haven't had it yet..

Weirdly, it stopped just after my last post.

Please someone tell me how to stop this.
I am losing my mind with it.

Maud according to my DP who works in IT and is a .Net developer, type:

Chrome://flags (into the Web bar, same one as you're using MN on so not a new page.)
Scroll down to disable WebGL.
Click on the enable bit.
It will then change to disable, (leave it like that)
Then it will come up with reboot, click yes.
Then come back onto MN

Have had no issues since. Joys of bothering him at work. Grin

Does that work if you're not using chrome?
