The National Autistic Society has been in touch asking us to let you know about their Autism Friendly Award.
Research for their new Too Much Information public awareness campaign revealed that 28% of people with autism have been asked to leave a public space because of behaviour associated with their autism. Because of this, they’ve asked people to share their good and bad experiences with them and to suggest places that they think should become more autism friendly.
The NAS is also running a petition to make high streets more autism-friendly.
