Also it would be good to have a devoted topic for me to moan on next time one of them has a birthday/gets married/drops a sprog/farts.

A topic where we can slag off the Royal Family? Yeah I'd be up for that - I was dying to discuss their various dull outfits and which one looked the most like a Bulldog chewing a wasp at the recent birthday celebrations, but alas there was nowhere to lay my thoughts.

MNHQ are probably bumping it to the top of the agenda right now.

There was a very interesting mini-discussion on a Royal thread (main boards) a little while ago about what would happen if the RF required fertility treatment and possibly donor gametes. But it was too late to join in because it had already been shouted down with the shreiks of hysterical monarchists ( and, to be fair, a sensitive mother-by -donor- eggs) before it got going.

So many interesting conversations about the monarchy get drowned out by people screaming "You're just jealous!". Most bizarre.
