It's nice to see older 'children' (obviously not all of yours are anymore!) You only tend to hear about problem teens on here, which makes me worry about mine growing up, but your children look so happy and unmessed up! Gives us mothers of preteens a bit of hope

stumpydog, you are gorgeous, and so are all your kids and your dog (and your DH isn't bad either!) - I can't believe you are the mother of all that lot!

We have had our teenage angst moments, honest, but they are mostly past - it helps that the girls don't actually live here any more (we all appreciate each other a lot more that way). I think on MN we only hear about the bad situations, and most families of teens get along OK most of the time - hope so anyway.

jan- thanks, you and your kids look lovely. it's nice to see another mner with older children. having a grandson is great too-i don't have to do all the work
