Well so says this auto link that came up when I was happily reading the BIL thread. Have attached photo!
Haven't looked at anything this morning other than mumsnet, Facebook and BBC news, honest!
Needless to say phone is still working and its been longer than the 5 mins in which my phone should have shut down and no, I didn't download Du Cleaner as so helpfully recommended.

It looks like a scam to get you to click on the link

notamummy10 · 26/05/2016 14:58

It's a pop-up, your phone hasn't got a virus... You'd know if your phone got a virus!

Every now and then I will get a "you won an iPhone" pop up. Only from mumsnet though

notamummy10 · 26/05/2016 15:17

Chanice I get those type of pop-ups when I stream programmes from those online streaming sites... The funniest one is 'be one of first to try iPhone 7' - like anybody is going to fall for that. Grin

I was wondering if these scans are an inevitable part of browsing of is there is something mumsnet could do about it?

I get my phone telling me this site has security problems and am I sure I want to continue. Have ignored it with no consequences yet!

Hi IAmCarcass,

Thanks for flagging this (and with a handy screen shot too!)

We're getting our Ads team to check it out - will report back as soon as we've heard back from them.
