MNHQ are doing the Moonwalk - please sponsor us

Hi all,

Over the years here at HQ, we have seen many of you sadly impacted by cancer, either personally or that of a loved one and we wanted to do a little something to try and raise some money for a cancer charity.

We have chosen the MoonWalk in London on the 14th May.
11 of us from MNHQ will be doing the half moon (13.1 miles officially but actually about 15 miles) around London starting at midnight . If you are doing it too, please come and say hi, we'll be wearing MN t-shirts

haha no problem! I'm hoping I can spot the MNHQ crew on the night!

I'm doing it too! (Not in that Lunnon place tho) it will be my 15th year, but this year I'll be in a wheelchair (and carrying the booze - well, someone has to!) and I've got a relay of helpful 'pushers' who'll be dedicated to pushing the booze on all our mates to fortify them, anorl.

For the first walk, I was just out of the surgery and treatments and my friends wanted to raise money for me. Sod that! A party I wasn't invited to?, but honestly the walk itself was a doddle...think of going into town to buy a pair of shoes but wanting to hit all the shops before parting with your cash? Surely, we've all been there.. So, you see a pair in the first shop but there just might be something else in the next, or the one after that? and so on. So you traipse around, go into many shops but, hey! Perhaps the shoes you saw in the first shop were the best anyway? So you go back and buy them

And then you walk to the pub where you meet your friends and show them off.A perfect day!

Have a great Walk, you MN lot. Brill atmosphere, great memories, and all for a good cause. CHeers! (Hic)

I won't post her real name cos I have no idea who knows it and who doesn't, but she is my friend, even though we've never met "in the flesh" and I luffs her to bits and this is a Good thing y'all are doing.
