I've meant to ask about this before - it leaves lots of titles looking rather truncated

Could you fix it, pleeease?

Single quotes seem to be OK though, bizarrely enough.

JanH · 09/01/2007 14:59

Oh they do? Thanks for that inf, WWB, I'll try to remember to use singles in future!

Quotes used to cause accidental smilies in the old days, do you remember?

Hello JanH, it looks like it happens when you preview a new thread. The bit after the first quote mark gets lost. It you create without preview it's ok. Hmm, that is a bit rubbish. We'll fix it.

Regards,
Tech

Oh yes, it is only after preview (but if I don't preview there is always a mistake, so I have to preview, so if you could fix it that would be fab )

I think long titles get cut aswell, when you preview. Don't quote me on that though.

Hi JanH,

The quote problem should be fixed now.

QP, thread titles have a maximum length so they'll get truncated if they go over that.

Cheers,
Tech

Only goes haywire after preview. Probably fixed now though x
