Top banner making me want to throw my phone!

The top banner, the "it's maternity leave" legal one, is about 5x the size of the others and is covering half my screen.

I'm on a Nokia Lumia.

It needs to go.

Crieff Hydro, whatever it is, is doing my head in. mobile on iphone...

I hesitate to post this in case it all goes pear shaped but I'm on iPhone /Safari with none of these issues.

Hi all,

In an effort to rid the site of this pesky ad, our Ads team have asked if any of you would be prepared to click on the ad and post the click URL. They can then block it in the system to see if that helps.

We realise this is probably the last thing you want to do, but needs must!

Yes sorry, I meant anyone at MNHQ. I don't see why we should have to risk our devices when it's simple enough for anyone (most of the population) with a mobile to do. They shouldn't be asking anyone to do something that they are not prepared to do themselves. Just my opinion of course. Peace and love and all that

agreed - i would hope that they wouldnt allow a link to a virus though - surely MN actually check all the links they take money for?

I don't work for MN but have you cleared your cookies and cache on your mobile devices once MN Ad team did their thing?
(backs out of the room in case my suggestion doesn't work and causes more issues)
