Has anyone worked out what the 'I'm On' is meant to represent ? It looks to me like a city on fire but it's a bit too small to identify clearly.

Some people either don't mind or use their devices a lot and learn to live with that. I become edgy when mine falls below 40% but that's just me.

It's because they use wingdings or something and occasionally it gets substituted for emojis.

Just to join in, my active convos list is a lot shorter than usual.

They were using kitten photos as a test something or other and they 'leaked'. You would probably find the thread here on Site Stuff - within the past year I think - if you looked for it. (Because MNHQ don't cull threads. )

The thing is, DP sits on the electric/charger/lamp end of the sofa. And I sit on the door end.

So mid-mumsnet I have been known to go as low as 1% before a mad dash to t'other end. And then a forlorn look into the distance whilst I wait until about 20% and I can disconnect again!

MNHQ I am using the mobile site on safari (iPhone 5s) and I can't really be bothered with apps because I have to navigate through mountains of whatever DD (5) has downloaded to find anything- sorry

Don't worry, Improbable. It happens.

It's just a small personal problem that I've learned to live with. (I also, when we had a car, used to keep the tank topped up on that even though I knew that it meant carrying around more petrol than necessary hence worse fuel consumption. As I said, it's a personal 'thing' that I've got. I don't let it interfere with life too much I hope.)
