Site just freezing on mobile

I'm on Android phone and MN freezing for a couple of days. Also scrolling down a thread it goes blank

I've had this problem since I had an android OS update - I assumed this was the cause but perhaps it's the site

Same here! Freezes on my moterolla phone, but fine on the hudl. Both using chrome. I just thought my phone was on the blink, although it's fine with other websites.

Fwiw it does it as often when one is logged out as when logged in.

Yes. Samsung Note freezing the last few days. I'll keep an eye on the adverts.

I've installed Ad-Block Plus, and no longer see the ad at the bottom of the screen. The site hasn't frozen since, if that helps at all

We're so sorry that many of you are still experiencing problems with the site freezing. Our Tech team are taking another look now - we'll update as soon as we can.

Still happening for me, in fact happened on this thread.

I'm using Chrome browser on Samsung S5 Mini. The ad at the top of the page is a coffee vending machine thing . And the workfest animation at the bottom - could it be that? The graphics are very, erm, lively.

Happening loads this morning. The advert at the top is the Compare the Market life insurance as, (which is also flickering as I scroll).

Hi. Mine keeps flashing and the screen goes black in places. Am on Samsung Galaxy S6 on chrome.

Happening loads today. Usually it's impossible to see the ad because the screen freezes but three times it's obviously been that meerkat.

It's taken me 4 tries to post on this today. I am so fed up with it. There is also an advert covering 1/4 of the page "Crieff Hydro" something or other

The motor 2 go advert seems to be causing problems, in general the problems seem to be getting worse rather than better

Chrome on Android tablet - constant freezes. If I close the tab and load the site again it's ok. I sometimes wonder if tech support for this site is a part time person in a shed.

It's bloody awful today.

I'm using Chrome on a Sony Xperia M4.

Can barely use MN today, haven't noticed a specific advert but will keep a look out.

Still crappy - needing constant page reloads to get anything to work. The shed must be unoccupied today.

Same here - chrome on a Motorola. Not noticed any particular adverts x

Been a little more tolerable, today, but what I have noticed is that I scroll down just fine until I hit a point where the rest of the page hasn't loaded. When I try to refresh, that's it, the whole thing becomes unresponsive.

And it's bad again.

When I click to a different tab and back again, it unfreezes and then just opens a random thread or advert from that page. It might just be registering my frustrated tapping whilst frozen but sometimes I'll scroll halfway down active, then it freezes and I click onto another tab then back on MN and it loads the first thread on active. Does that make sense?
