Same here, desktop using Chrome. It's only happened once, when I hit post, I think on the Grabby Bridezilla thread.

I got it too. On android. I couldn't close it but that may be because my phone is crap. I was on the list during JefferyGate. Hope it's not happening again!

Of course (moanbitchwhinge) it would be nice if you'd address the page jumping thing before testing out other new stuff...

I think this thread and the attention that MN receives from those who tend to tamper with things is a good reason why a pop up for new visitors might not be a good idea.
