Donor conception (egg, sperm and enbryo donation) ttc and parenting

I am a mum to two adult children conceived with the help of two sperm donors. My DH is infertile. We told our children about their conception from when they were little but I know that lots of people have worries about doing this. I noticed that there were a few posts about donor conception parenting but no particular place to post so management encouraged me to start this thread. I certainly don't have all the answers but I do have a lot of experience of being a parent and talking to others who are as well.

Sorry if there was a slight misunderstanding here.

In our response to your email, we were suggesting that you start a thread here in Site Stuff to see if many other MNers would like a separate topic in which to discuss donor conception and parenting matters, rather than start the discussion itself here in Site Stuff. So sorry if we weren't clear.

But now you've started this, we'll ask as well! Would this be something that many of you would be interested in?

We do have a long-running thread on Donor IUI here in our Conception topic, but we'd be keen to know if you'd like a separate space for discussing all things related to donor conception and parenting.

Please add your thoughts here. Smile

And OM154 don't worry at all, Mumsnet is a huge site and even those of us who have worked here for years don't actually know what's going on. Blush Grin

Right, will go have a word with the powers that be to see where we're at with this. And will count OM's request as another yes vote for the topic.
