I got redirected from your site to another showing a woman's bum slightly covered by a yellow pair of knickers. I will ss if it happens again.

Blimey, it's popping up everywhere. Shock

So sorry - we'll get our Tech team back on the case. In the meantime, if you could all please supply any details - no, not screenshots (PLEASE!), just which device you're using, which version of the site, the usual stuff.

Hopefully we'll get this sorted pronto.

berylbainbridge · 25/11/2015 22:25

Thanks Dawn. I forgot to say I was on Samsung s6 on the mobile site.

WhirlwindHugs · 26/11/2015 07:54

Redirected to porn this morning from active convos. I might have accidently clicked an advert as I'm on my phone LG/mobile site/chrome

ColetteTech · 26/11/2015 08:15

Hello everyone,
Firstly, we're very sorry this is happening. Your posts have been really helpful and it looks like we can narrow this redirect problem down to android devices (inc Kindles)- has anyone experienced otherwise?
This could be coming from a number of sources so we're going to turn off each source over the course of today and monitor this thread to see if it's still happening.
Thanks so much for your help, we'll be in touch once we've turned the first provider off.

Roystonv · 26/11/2015 08:20

Me too on a kindle fire this morning, just browsing mn as usual

Frolicacid · 26/11/2015 09:20

Mine was on an iPhone in safari using iOS 9.1.

Fyaral · 26/11/2015 11:14

Mine was samsung android.

ColetteTech · 26/11/2015 13:46

Just checking in to say we've switched off one of our providers.

If the redirects continue, could you please post on this thread and confirm what device/browser you're using?

Thanks in advance, it's impossible for us to replicate everyone's different tech set-ups so your reports are vital.

Hi just happened again on AIBU (porn redirect) I'm using the mobile site, android phone, chrome.

PhoenixRises · 01/12/2015 18:23

I was redirected earlier - it went to (I think as I shut it down quickly and I have no desire to google!) a site called pornhub?

I was using iPhone and I honestly don't know if it was my safari or chrome browsers - I use both!

ReallyConfusedDotCom · 04/12/2015 19:30

This happened to me!!! However I was looking at the mirror website, but I do use mumsnet. Could I have a virus from mumsnet?

No. It's not a virus. It's a dodgy advert on the page, and can happen on any page that has external advertising.

ReallyConfusedDotCom · 04/12/2015 20:46

Oh ok, that's not good then. Thanks for your reply. How can you prevent it? I wouldn't want my daughter browsing the Internet and it comes up.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 04/12/2015 20:59

You can turn off JavaScript, but that will affect the working of many sites.

On a desktop I think adblock etc will block them...

ReallyConfusedDotCom · 05/12/2015 09:34

Ok, thanks for the advice
